Terms
Terms of service
Scope, conditions, pricing, refunds and defect support — all in one place.
Effective September 6, 2026 — These terms apply to WPER WordPress Support Center (wper.kr) and to the paid services offered there, operated by Dongji Communication. By placing an order you accept the risk disclosure in section 7 and the limitation of liability in section 9.
1. What these terms cover
They set out the rights and obligations between us and you for everything we sell: WordPress version upgrades, performance tuning, security hardening, technical SEO support, and InfraGuard monitoring passes.
2. Words we use
- You / your — anyone who visits the site or places an order.
- Client — someone who has placed an order and paid for it.
- Your site — the WordPress installation you asked us to work on, and the server it runs on.
- Credentials — the server account, SSH key and WordPress administrator login we need in order to do the work.
- Progress page — your private portal at
/my/. The account is issued when your application is received. - InfraGuard — our server monitoring, auto-blocking and backup tooling, and the passes that give access to it.
3. Changes to these terms
These terms are published here at all times. We may revise them within the limits of applicable law. We post any change at least 7 days before it takes effect, and at least 30 days before if the change is to your disadvantage. Orders already placed are governed by the terms in force on the day you applied — a later revision never reaches backwards.
4. What the service includes
- Upgrading WordPress core, your theme and your plugins to current versions
- Performance tuning — Redis object cache, nginx FastCGI cache, OPcache
- Security hardening — PHP execution permissions, nginx configuration, review and remediation of known vulnerabilities
- Technical SEO — indexing, structured data, sitemaps
- A reproducible Docker / docker-compose deployment, handed over to you
- A before-and-after report measured under identical conditions
Not included — copywriting, design refresh, new feature development, server rental costs, paid theme or plugin licence fees, domain costs. The scope is whatever is stated on the program page at the time you pay.
5. Ordering, when the contract starts, and price
- When you submit the application form we email you a confirmation and a login for your progress page. The contract begins when we confirm your payment, not when you submit the form.
- The price is ₩270,000 (VAT included) by bank transfer or USD 200 via PayPal. The two are independent prices, not conversions of each other; which one applies depends on the payment method you choose.
- InfraGuard passes are prepaid for a fixed term and never renew automatically. The free month included with the program ends on its own and does not turn into a charge.
- If we judge that the conditions in section 6 are not met, we may decline the order and refund anything already paid in full.
6. What we need from you
- We can only work on server hosting. A VPS, cloud instance, dedicated server, colocated machine or self-hosted box — anything where root or sudo access is available. Shared web hosting (cPanel and similar) does not grant permission to configure Docker, Redis or nginx, so it is out of scope.
- The Docker stack needs at least 10 GB of free disk space, and 20 GB or more is recommended.
- Credentials are submitted from the progress page. Nothing starts until they arrive, and the resulting delay is a reason to wait, not a reason to refund.
- You must hold proper authority over the site you ask us to work on. Commissioning work on somebody else’s site without permission is entirely your responsibility.
- Tell us before we start about: core, theme or plugin files you edited directly; plugins you built yourself; anything that loses money when it stops — checkout, memberships, bookings; and any campaign or event running during the work. We are not responsible for problems that follow from something you did not tell us.
7. Risks you should understand before you buy
The following cannot be eliminated entirely, however carefully we work. Placing an order means you understand them and want to proceed anyway.
- Upgrades carry compatibility risk by their nature. WordPress core, themes and plugins are written by different people; when versions move, behaviour can change or stop. We verify on a parallel stack that never touches your live site and take a full backup before cutting over — but no one can reproduce every combination in advance.
- The chance of data loss cannot be reduced to zero. We back up files and database before starting. Even so, we strongly recommend you keep your own backup, independent of us, made before the work begins.
- Security work addresses known vulnerabilities as of the date of assessment. What we perform is a vulnerability assessment — a scan plus a checklist comparison — and not a penetration test. Vulnerabilities published afterwards, undisclosed (zero-day) vulnerabilities, and compromises arising from how accounts are managed on your side are outside what we can cover. No engagement guarantees that a site will not be hacked.
- Your site may already be compromised. Backdoors, tampering or data exfiltration that predate the work may not surface in the assessment; and where they do surface, fully removing them and recovering is separate work.
- Performance and SEO improvements are improvements in measurements. We prove them with before-and-after measurement under identical conditions. We do not guarantee business outcomes — search rankings, visitor numbers or revenue. Rankings are decided by search engine algorithms and by your competitors, both outside our control.
- We depend on third-party software. Defects in a theme or plugin, its abandonment, a licence change or a move behind a paywall are not things we control.
- The server and network are yours. Outages at your host, exhausted disk or memory, DNS, certificate or firewall policy, and interruptions caused by traffic limits fall outside our responsibility.
- Changes after handover are yours. Problems introduced by you or a third party changing configuration, plugins or code after delivery are not covered by defect support.
8. How we handle your credentials
- Credentials are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key lives in a server configuration file, not in the database, so a database dump alone cannot decrypt them.
- Plaintext credentials are never displayed in any admin screen. Our engineers read them only through a command-line tool. This exists so that a stolen admin session cannot become a stolen server.
- We use what you submit solely to perform the work you commissioned.
- We recommend that you rotate passwords and SSH keys once the work is done. We destroy the stored credentials on completion, but final responsibility for your credentials is yours.
- You may supply an account with the minimum privileges needed. If that makes something impossible to do, we tell you before starting rather than after.
9. Limitation of liability
- Our total liability to you in connection with the service is capped at the fees you actually paid for that engagement.
- We are not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss — lost business opportunities, lost revenue, losses flowing from lost data, or claims made against you by third parties.
- Paragraphs 1 and 2 do not apply to loss caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor anywhere applicable law does not permit liability to be limited.
- We are not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure, power or network failure, or by outages at third parties such as your host, the payment providers or the verification services.
- We are not liable for loss arising because you did not meet the obligations in section 6 or did not disclose the matters in section 7.
10. Defect support
For two weeks after delivery we fix defects in the same items at no charge. A defect means a malfunction originating in work we performed. It does not cover changes made on your side, new requirements, or newly discovered flaws in third-party software.
11. Refunds
Before work begins we refund in full and do not ask why. What qualifies, what does not, and how refunds are processed for each payment method are set out on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.
12. Intellectual property
- The configuration files, scripts and Docker setup we write during the work are yours to use, modify and redistribute freely from the moment they are handed over.
- Rights in your site’s content, design and data remain yours throughout.
- Content we publish on this site — guides, images, code — remains ours. Please credit the source when you quote it.
- Third-party themes and plugins stay under their own licence terms. We do not buy or transfer licences on your behalf.
13. Confidentiality — and why you will not appear in a case study
We do not publish anything that identifies a client — no domains, company names, IP addresses or screenshots, anywhere. When we turn work into published content we use only the anonymised procedure and the measurements. Business information we learn during the work stays confidential.
14. Changing or discontinuing the service
We may change or discontinue all or part of the service for operational or technical reasons. Orders already placed and paid for are delivered on the terms agreed; where that becomes impossible, we refund in full.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises we will first try in good faith to resolve it with you. Failing that, either party may bring proceedings before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Language. This English text is provided so that you can read the terms in your own language. It is written for an English-speaking reader rather than translated line by line, and the substance matches the Korean original. Where the two differ, the Korean version prevails, because that is the version filed and enforceable in the courts named above.
